donyell.

This is the summary of my days, my laughs, my friends, my family, my rants, my raves, my confusion, my clarity, my hate, my love, my life. And every little bit of it is something beautiful that I look forward to looking back on.

i’m having a lot of random thoughts right now. they’re not that random actually. isn’t it weird how the things you run away from, end up finding you again. i ran away from this sophomore summer i believe. what do you know. here it is again!!!! can’t wait til college. never have to talk to/see certain bitch ass(es) again.

seventy times 7 - brand new

posting this for 2 reasons :

1) i absolutely LOVE brand new & this song.

2) i know you’ll stalk this & send it to another certain person. i dislike both of you equally :) that part about your head going through the windshield. that’s straight from my heart babes.

refreshing to think about

For what gives value to travel is fear. It breaks down a kind of inner decor in us. We can’t cheat any more - hide ourselves away behind the hours in the office or at the plant (these hours against which we protest so strongly and protect us so surely against the suffering of being alone) … Travel takes this refuge from us. Far from our own people, our own language, wrenched away from all support, deprived of our masks…we are completely on the surface of ourselves.
